Cut Sleeve Boys
Aug 23, 07Thanks goes to Andy Lee for pointing this out to me. Hot guys, appears to be funny, and campy. More details at: http://cutsleeveboys-themovie.com/index.html
Ask A Ninja reviews: Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest
Jul 07, 06WOW. Apparently, the folks over at AskANinja.com really didn't like Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest. I first heard this tonight on NPR on the way to my night job (teaching at MTI). With the audio only, I was cracking up with me and myself in my little rental car.
To be honest, I didn't like the first one either, in fact, I think the review above holds true to the first movie. I won't personally know if it holds true for the second movie as I won't see it until it comes out on DVD and it gets through my lengthy list at Netflix.
I keep adding stuff to netflix, but I bump up the ones I really want to see. At the bottom of my list, are lots of movies I may never get around to seeing - perhaps if I fail to add movies for several months I may get around to watching them. However, just because I get a movie in the mail, doesn't mean I'll watch it as i've been know to return movies without even watching them.
So far now, I'm on the second season of Farscape and the third season of 6 Feet Under - both are great. I was recently turned onto to farscape from some random recording on my MythTV box. Anyways, great show, highly recommend them. More depth than Star Trek, not that I was a huge fan of those shows to begin with.
I've rambled enough for today. Cheers.
Simpsons
Jul 06, 06I'm a little behind the times, but quickly catching up thanks to this here internet thingy-ma-bob. After 18yrs on the small screen, the Simpons will be on the big screen on July 27, 2007. Here's the trailer:
And, if you want to see the Simpons tv episode opener performed by real people, you have to check this out too.
Cars the movie
Jul 02, 06Saw Cars (Disney/Pixar) tonight with Albert and Kevin. Was a really cute show, was laughing ALOT! If you haven't seen it, go see it. The animation and sound details are amazing, but I'd expect nothing less from Pixar. That's my review. :-)
Of course, all pictures for/about the movie are copyrighted, so here's a little something else. (Not my picture - click on it for details)
